Gaetano Pesce's rolls in artist, architect and designer, all expressing an explorer of color and form . Peace currently bases in New York City, completed an extensive body of work which can be found all over the world. His acamdamic studies began in his native country at the University of Venice Faculty of Architecture. By living and working in over ten countries, Pesce has developed an international style that uses figurative imagery to communicate feeling. His work is focused on material innovation, uninhibited use of color, and his designs react against the hard-lined “antiseptic” look of modernism.
This book was issued as a Gaetano Pesce retrospetive exhibition at the Trieniale museum in Milan. The pages of these books are perforated, and the reader is invited to tear along the lines at their pleasure to create a unique work of art.
